Foccacia of Today
With the Starter of Yesteryear (Dick Proenekke's historic starter), I made a sundried tomato focaccia for a friend's gallery reception. I was complimented many times on this "pizza." I corrected a few people, but by the end of the night, even I admitted the pizza was gone.
As a Small Babe, Eating was one of the first things I ever did in life. And I have pursued my craft with diligence ever since.
I was born Hungry. I have a Voracious Appetite. I eat more than many large men, a fact that brings me both pride and shame. But it is what it is. I am Omnivorous and left to my own accord, might accidentally devour The Entire World. (Watch out for your fingers.)
